Learn D&D to End T1D - Charity Event

We will be hosting an event on  February 10th as our first Charity Event. 

Voss Media Board Game Cafe is teaming up with the Grajek family and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) to run this non-profit event to help fund research to end Type 1 Diabetes. 

We are calling it Learn D&D to End T1D. Earlier last year Nathan & Tricha's 8-year-old boy was diagnosed with T1D. JDRF has been amazing with information and helpful with planning, as an organization committed to finding a cure. The Grajek family was struggling to find a way to help, and with the love of D&D, they found a way. 

Using their love for D&D and Nathan's experience being a Dungeon Master they wanted to offer a way to learn D&D while helping to find a cure to T1D. So this is where we come in.

We are hosting 2 beginner games (1 for kids 8-16) (1 for 16 and older) for the public and 1 advanced game (for experienced players)  to learn and play D&D and have a chance to be a part of this event. If you are new and want to learn this is a great opportunity. If you are advanced and just want to run in a published campaign game. We here at Voss Media will also be running a special event for 5 hours that day, anything that is sold in-store, 100% profit will be donated to this cause. So even if you do not want to attend you can at least participate by purchasing products.
