Did you know we have wonderfully talented people in our midst every day? I had the pleasure to meet some of them and in the Month of April, we are spotlighting these amazing people.

Local Spotlight: Guilded Age - Playtest

Guild Master is the deck building, dice rolling management game, where you get all of the fame of heroics, but none of the responsibility of the failures!

Instead of risking your life-fighting dragons or brokering peace between spiteful dignitaries, you form a guild of intrepid heroes to complete these jobs instead, netting your precious resources from the five main attributes (power, magic, wealth, culture, and wisdom). By completing these quests, finding relics of kingdoms past, or even collecting bounties on recruits of other guilds, you will gain Prestige, the most important aspect of Relmhinge society.

By shrewd, sword, or sorcery you can outplay your fellow guild masters, receive vaunted accolades and become the Guild Master Supreme, reigning dominant over your rivals in this Guilded Age!

Winston Lewis III is a local game designer from Kalamazoo and we are excited to host this event where he will be teaching his new creation and collecting feedback and you have the opportunity to help him make the best game he can. Also, his Kickstarter will be prepared very soon and this is a great opportunity to play before you back it. I know Voss Media Board Game Cafe can't wait to support our amazing local game designer.
